Getting through a stadium gate is easier when your bag is transparent and stays within the venue’s size limit. The Fomaris Clear Backpack is a compact PVC daypack built around the common 12 x 6 x 12-inch clear-bag format, with a light 11.04-ounce build and adjustable shoulder straps. It gives you enough room for event essentials, but it is not designed to replace a full school, work, or laptop backpack. This review explains its verified specifications, real-world uses, material concerns, and the buyers who should consider another option.
Quick Verdict
Rating: 8/10, recommended with caveats
Best For: Stadium games, concerts, festivals, and workplaces that require a compact clear bag
Bottom Line: The Fomaris Clear Backpack offers a practical size, low empty weight, visible storage, and adjustable straps. Its limited organization, exposed contents, PVC construction, and venue-specific approval rules make it less suitable for everyday commuting or carrying larger electronics.

What Is the Fomaris Clear Backpack?
The Fomaris Clear Backpack, model B-30C2ST002, is a small transparent daypack made for events and locations where staff need to see the bag’s contents. Its product title uses the 12 x 6 x 12-inch size associated with many clear-bag rules. The current product-details section gives slightly smaller finished measurements of 6 x 11.5 x 11.8 inches, so the bag stays close to that common limit.
The bag uses a PVC shell, a zipper closure, adjustable shoulder straps, one main compartment, and two listed pockets. At 11.04 ounces empty, it should not add much weight before you pack it. The listing also identifies a 14-liter storage volume and recommends devices no larger than 10 inches, which places it closer to an event bag than a laptop backpack.
Its main selling point is visibility. Security staff can inspect the contents without opening every section, and you can spot small items quickly. The tradeoff is that other people can also see your wallet, phone, medication, and personal items.
Before You Buy: A transparent bag is not automatically accepted at every stadium, arena, festival, or concert. Check the event’s current bag policy before you leave home, including its size, pocket, strap, and prohibited-item rules.
Who Should Buy It?
Best For
- Fans attending venues that allow clear bags up to about 12 x 6 x 12 inches
- Concert and festival visitors who carry a phone, wallet, keys, snacks, and a few small accessories
- Workers or volunteers who need a transparent bag for checkpoint screening
Skip If
- You need a padded compartment for a laptop larger than 10 inches
- You want private storage, extensive organization, or a rigid protective shell
- You prefer to avoid PVC products or are concerned about the listing’s California Proposition 65 warning
Detailed Features
Clear PVC Build and Visibility
The transparent PVC body makes the contents visible from outside. That can reduce the time needed for a basic bag inspection, but it does not let you bypass screening or other venue rules. The listing describes the material as waterproof, which can help with light rain and spills. Still, a zippered backpack should not be treated as a sealed or submersible dry bag.
PVC is easy to wipe clean, but it does not feel or drape like woven fabric. It may also show fingerprints, scuffs, and dust more clearly. Keep sharp objects capped or covered so they do not press directly against the clear panels.
Size, Capacity, and Packing Space
The current listing presents two closely related measurements: a 12 x 6 x 12-inch size in the title and 6 x 11.5 x 11.8 inches in the detailed specifications. That small difference does not change the basic use case. This is a compact event backpack, not a large school pack.
The product-details table lists 14 liters of storage, which is more than the 7-liter figure used in the older draft. In practice, capacity depends on how much space the seams, zipper, and pockets allow you to use. Expect room for small event essentials, a compact jacket, or snacks, but not a full day of school books and large electronics.
Straps and Carrying Comfort
Adjustable shoulder straps let you set the bag higher or lower on your back. The listing describes the harness as ergonomic and the design as lightweight. Because the empty bag weighs only 11.04 ounces, most of the carrying load will come from what you place inside.
Comfort will drop if you fill the bag with dense items such as large water bottles, batteries, or heavy camera gear. The compact body also offers less load distribution than a structured hiking or commuter backpack. Pack lighter items against your back and avoid pulling the straps so tight that the PVC creases sharply.
Storage and Organization
The listing identifies one main compartment, two pockets, and one zippered compartment. That simple layout is useful when security staff need a clear view, but it provides less separation than a regular backpack with an organizer panel and padded sleeves.
A 10-inch maximum compatible device size means a small tablet may fit, while most laptops will not. Even when a device fits by measurement, the bag does not list a padded electronics sleeve. Use a separate protective case if you carry a tablet or other scratch-prone item.
Pro Tip: Place tickets, keys, and other small items in one pocket, then keep the main compartment loosely packed. A clear, uncluttered layout makes items easier to find and gives security staff a better view.
How It Performs in Real Use
At Stadium Games
The bag’s listed dimensions align with the 12 x 6 x 12-inch format used by many NFL venues. That makes it a practical starting point for game day. You should still confirm the specific stadium’s policy because some locations allow smaller bags, limit extra pockets, or ban backpacks even when they are transparent.
At Concerts and Festivals
For a concert, the backpack format keeps both hands free while you move through lines or stand in a crowd. The clear body helps you find a phone, portable charger, sunglasses, or ear protection without emptying the bag. The privacy tradeoff matters more in crowded spaces, so place cash and identification in a small opaque wallet or permitted clutch.
For Work and Security Checkpoints
The Fomaris can work for workplaces that require transparent bags, especially when your daily load is small. The single main compartment is easy to inspect, but the lack of a padded laptop section limits its value for office commuting. Confirm that your employer allows this size and strap style before using it as a required work bag.
For Travel and Day Outings
The low empty weight is helpful when you want a simple bag for a beach, pool, amusement park, or short outing. It is less suitable for airport valuables because the contents remain visible and the bag lacks the structure of travel luggage. It should be treated as an event or day bag, not as secure luggage.
How to Pack and Use It Correctly
- Check the venue policy first: Review the event page on the day you attend because bag rules can change by venue and event.
- Measure after packing: Bulging sides can make a compliant bag exceed the allowed depth.
- Protect electronics: Use a slim padded sleeve for a small tablet because the backpack does not list a built-in padded compartment.
- Avoid prohibited items: A clear bag does not make outside food, large bottles, professional cameras, or other restricted items acceptable.
- Keep valuables discreet: Use a small permitted wallet or pouch so cash, cards, and personal information are not fully exposed.
- Do not overload it: Heavy or sharp contents can strain the zipper, straps, seams, and clear panels.
Materials, Care, and Safety
The outer shell is listed as polyvinyl chloride, or PVC, and the care instruction is hand wash only. Wipe the bag with a soft cloth, mild soap, and water, then let it dry fully before storage. Do not place it in a washing machine or use abrasive cleaners that may cloud or scratch the clear surface.
The Amazon listing includes a California Proposition 65 warning stating that the product can expose users to DEHP. Buyers who are pregnant, shopping for a young child, or trying to avoid phthalates should review the warning and product information before purchase. The listing describes the age range as 3 years and older, but this is not a substitute for adult judgment or supervision.
The material is described as waterproof, yet the zipper and stitched areas may still be vulnerable to water entry. Keep phones, paper tickets, and other moisture-sensitive items in their own protective pouch when rain is likely.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Listed near the common 12 x 6 x 12-inch stadium-bag limit
- Light 11.04-ounce empty weight
- Transparent PVC supports quick visual inspection
- Adjustable shoulder straps leave your hands free
- Multiple color and package options are shown on the listing
Cons
- Venue approval is not guaranteed, even when the dimensions match a common policy
- No listed padded laptop sleeve, and device guidance stops at 10 inches
- Contents remain visible, and the listing carries a California Proposition 65 warning
Is It Worth the Price?
The Fomaris Clear Backpack sits in the budget clear-bag category and offers strong value when you need a small transparent backpack for occasional events. Its key benefits are the light build, common stadium-size format, adjustable straps, and simple inspection-friendly layout.
You get less value if you need a daily commuter bag, padded electronics protection, private storage, or several organized compartments. It is worth considering for game days and concerts, but a larger structured clear backpack may be better for school or work, while a small clear tote may be simpler for venues with stricter rules.
How It Compares to Alternatives
The JanSport Clear Mini Pack is worth comparing if you prefer a recognized backpack brand and a compact clear style. A larger Vorspack clear backpack may suit school or workplace use better when you need more organization and space, but larger models can exceed some venue limits. The Fomaris makes the most sense when your priority is staying close to the common 12 x 6 x 12-inch event-bag format without carrying a large pack.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Fomaris Clear Backpack accepted at every stadium?
No. Its listed 12 x 6 x 12-inch format matches a common clear-bag limit, but each venue and event can set different rules. Check the current event policy before traveling.
Can it fit a laptop or tablet?
The listing gives a maximum compatible device size of 10 inches, so a small tablet may fit. Most laptops will be too large, and the bag does not list a padded device sleeve.
How much does the backpack hold?
The current product-details table lists 14 liters. That is suitable for event essentials and a few light layers, but the simple compartment layout and compact dimensions limit bulky loads.
Is the backpack fully waterproof?
The listing describes the PVC material and bag as waterproof. Because it has a zipper and stitched seams, protect electronics and paper items separately rather than treating the backpack as a sealed dry bag.
How should you clean it?
The listed care instruction is hand wash only. Use mild soap, water, and a soft cloth, then let the backpack dry completely before storing it.
Does the listing include a material warning?
Yes. The Amazon page includes a California Proposition 65 warning for DEHP. Review that warning before purchase if PVC or phthalate exposure is a concern for you.
Is it suitable for international travel?
It can work as a lightweight day bag, but it is not secure luggage and does not hide valuables. Airline, airport, festival, and stadium rules also vary by country and location.
Does it come in other colors or pack sizes?
The current listing shows black, blue, pink, rose gold, and turquoise one-pack options, plus a black two-pack. Confirm the selected color and quantity before checkout because the affiliate page may open on a different variant.
The Bottom Line
The Fomaris Clear Backpack is a sensible buy for stadium games, concerts, festivals, and controlled workplaces when you need a light bag close to the common 12 x 6 x 12-inch clear-bag format. Skip it if you need private storage, a padded laptop compartment, or a PVC-free material. Its strongest feature is inspection-friendly simplicity, while its main limitation is that no bag can guarantee venue entry.
